Helisika was established on Poronui Station (the original liberation site of Sika deer in 1905) back in 1987 to give hunters access to the Kaimanawa and Kaweka Forest Parks. Private hunting blocks and guided fishing soon followed and the business has grown from a 1 helicopter, 1 man band to what we are today.
Today we work closely with the Department of Conservation and a number of Maori Land Trusts to offer you access to the best hunting and fishing in the North Island.
